四、强调句和状语从句的that要整体记忆结构

　　1.句子中的“it is (was)…that / who…”，如果可以整体从句子中剥离出去，而不影响句子的意思，则句子就使用了强调句结构。

　　例如：

　　It was after he got what he had desired

　　he realized it was not so important.

　　A. that B. when

　　C. since D. as

　　试选A，构成“It was…that…”的结构，并将其整体剥离，句子就成为：

　　“After he got what he had desired，he realized it was not so important.”句义完整，说明选择强调结构的“that”是正确的。

　　2.由“that, so that, in order that”引导的目的状语从句和“that, so that, so … that, such … that …”引导的结果状语从句，可以结合语句加以选择。

　　例如：

　　Pop music is such an important part of society ______ it has even influenced our language.

　　A. as B. that

　　C. which D. where

　　答案为B，that引导结果状语从句。

　　复合句和特殊句式中涉及的连接性词语很多，而that和what掌握起来相对比较难，同时因为它们也是考试的热点，因此，希望同学们在平时的学习和练习中加以注意并不断积累，力争突破好这个难点。
