第一部分、大纲要求：
一、评价目标：
考生应能写不同类型的应用文，包括私人和公务信函、备忘录、摘要、报告等，还应能写一般描述性、叙述性和说明或议论性的文章。短文写作时，考生应能：
l、做到语法、拼写、标点正确，用词恰当；
2、遵循文章的特定文体格式；
3、合理组织文章结构，使其内容统一、连贯；
4、根据写作目的和特定读者，恰当使用语域。
二、考试内容：
该部分由A、B两节组成，考查考生的书面表达能力。总分30分。
A节：考生根据所给情景写出一篇约100词(标点符号不计算在内)的应用性短文，包括私人和公务信国、备忘录、摘要、报告等。考生在答题卡2上作答。满分10分。
B节：要求考生根据提示信息写出一篇160-200词的短文(标点符号不计算在内)。提示信息的形式有主题句、写作提纲、规定情景、图、表等。考生在答题卡2上作答。满分20分。
三、评分原则和方法：
l、虽然A、B两节的考查要点有所不同，但对考生写作能力的基本要求是相同的，所以一般评分标准对两节都适用。但根据两节的不同考查要点，评分是会有不同的侧重点。
A节
应用文的评分侧重点在于信息点的覆盖和内容的组织、语言的准确性、格式和语域(指在书面和口语表达中根据不同的交际对象，所采用的话语方式，即正式、一般、非正式的话语)的恰当。对语法结构和词汇多样性的要求将根据具体试题作调整。允许在作文中使用提示语中出现过的关键词，但使用提示语中出现过的词组或句子将被扣分。
B节
B节作文的评分重点在于内容的完整性、文章的连贯组织性、语法结构和词汇的多样性及语言的准确性。
2、评分时，先根据文章的内容和语言确定其所属档次，然后以该档次的要求来给分。评分人员在档内有l-3分的调节分。
3、A节作文的字数要求是100词左右。B节作文的字数要求是160-200词。文章长度不符合要求的，酌情扣分。
4、拼写与标点符号是语言准确性的一个方面。评分时，视其对交际的影响程度予以考虑。英、美拼写及词汇用法均可接受。
5、如书写较差，以致影响交际，将分数降低一个档次。
四、最新考研英语写作具体评分细则
20—17分：内容切题，包括题中所列的各项内容，清楚表达其内涵，文字连贯；句式有变化，句子结构和用词正确。文章长度符合要求。
16—13分：内容切题，包括题中所列的各项内容；比较清楚地表达其内涵，文字基本连贯，句式有一定变化，句子结构和用词无重大错误。文章长度符合要求。
12—9分：内容切题，基本包括题中所列各方面的内容；基本清楚地表达其内涵；句子结构和词有少量错误。文章长度符合要求。
8—5分：内容基本切题，基本包含题中所列各方面的内容；语句可以理解，文章长度基本符合要求。
4—1分：基本按要求写作，但只有少数句子可以理解。
0分：文不切题，语句混乱，无法理解。

第二部分、写作整体构建模式
考研英语写作的文章一般包括一个开头段、若干扩展段和一个结尾段。开头段和结尾段一般比扩展段短。各种段落的作用、特点和写作方法如下所示。
一、开头段
开头段一定要语言精练，并且直接切入主题。开头段一般不对主题进行深入的探讨，具体的论证或叙述应该在扩展段进行。
开头段的常用核心句型

The picture below illustrates the real meaning of love, by stressing the fact that love is emotional strength, which can support us no matter how dark the world around us becomes. In fact , throughout history people of many different cultures have regarded love as the noblest of human emotions.
As an example of the power of love, we should remember how the Chinese people of all nationalities respond to the call to help the victims of natural disasters every year. Although their incomes are still low by international standards, people all over the country do not hesitate to donate whatever they can -- be it money or goods -- to help their needy fellow citizens. Moreover, they do this with no thought of gain for themselves.
In my opinion, the best way to show love is to help people who are more unfortunate than we are. We should always be ready to give a helping hand to those who are in trouble, no matter whether they are family members or complete strangers. In this way, we can help to make the world a better place, for ,as the picture shows, the darker the shadows of sorrow become, the more brightly the lamp of love shines.

Among all the worthy feelings of mankind, love is probably the noblest. It is of the utmost importance to the human beings, Everybody not only needs love, but also should give love.
As is described in the picture, "love is a lamp which is brighter in darker places. " This is indeed true. People in darker places need more light than ordinary people. Maye even a dim light can give them much hope for a better life and progress. Maybe just a thread of light will call forth their strength and courage to step out of their difficulties.
For instance when someone is starving to death, just a little food and water from you may save his life. Or when a little girl in a poor rural area drops out of school because of poverty, just a small sum of money from you may support her to finish her schooling and change her life, you have given love which is like a lamp in a dark place where light is most needed.
So to sum up, we should offer our help to all who are in need. According to the figures given in the bar charts, it took from the beginning of human life to the year 1830 for the population of the earth to reach one billion. That represents a time span of at least two million years. Then the world population increased rapidly, adding up to two billion in 1930. The next billion was added by 1960, only thirty years. From then on the global population was on the rise, amounting to 4 billion in 1975, which is another billion people in only 15 years.
There are at least two reasons, I think, for the sharp increase in world population. In the first place, the birth rate is continuously climbing in many countries, especially in developing countries. Generally speaking, people there hold the opinion that children don't cost much and when they get old enough to work they will bring in money and that when parents are old, they will take care of them. Secondly, the death rate i most developed countries declines steadily because people's standards of living are raised and health care improves.
In may opinion, the chief reason for the population growth is not so much a rise in birth rates as a fall in death rates as result of improvements in medical care.
